These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”) and Tap Tavern Limited. By accessing or using our products and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy and Shipping & Returns Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Tap Tavern’s products and services, including physical NFC cards and digital features. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

PRODUCTS & SERVICES
Tap Tavern provides interactive tabletop tools combining physical NFC-enabled cards and digital software features.
Digital content is accessed through NFC activation.
No software is sold separately.
ACCOUNT CREATION & ACTIVATION
Users may create accounts through third-party OAuth providers (Discord, Gmail).
By connecting a third-party account, you grant Tap Tavern permission to use your verified identity data solely for access, personalization, and feature delivery.
WALLET CREATION & TOKEN USE
An Ethereum-compatible blockchain wallet is generated upon account creation to facilitate in-game currency rewards.
Tap Tavern does not act as a wallet custodian, store private keys, or provide financial services. No charges are applied for wallet creation.
LICENSING & ACCESS
Each purchase of a Tap Tavern NFC card grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the associated digital tools.
You may not:
Resell or share your access credentials
Reverse-engineer, duplicate, or circumvent NFC-based validation
Exploit the platform for commercial or malicious use
Upon account termination, your license to use any associated digital tools will also terminate.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content, software, systems, character builders, design assets, branding, AI outputs, and site features are owned by Tap Tavern Limited.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
If you contribute content (e.g., feedback, character ideas), you grant Tap Tavern a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use it within our ecosystem.
USER CONDUCT
By using Tap Tavern, you agree not to:
Harass, abuse, impersonate, or defraud others
Upload malicious code, bots, or scripts
Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities
Violate applicable local, national, or international law
Disrupt the experience of others or the integrity of the platform
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban users who violate these rules.
PAYMENTS & PRICING
All prices are displayed in USD unless stated otherwise.
Payments are processed securely via Stripe. You agree to provide accurate billing information.
Prices may change at any time. Existing purchases will not be retroactively adjusted.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
We offer tracked international shipping. Times and costs vary.
You are responsible for any applicable customs, VAT, or import duties.
Tap Tavern is not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers or force majeure events.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
Returns are accepted for unused, unopened NFC cards within 14 days of delivery.
No refunds will be issued for digital content unlocked via NFC activation.

DISCLAIMERS
Tap Tavern’s services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee continuous access, uninterrupted service, or feature availability.
We are not liable for any loss resulting from system outages, misuse, or failure to deliver gameplay results.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Tap Tavern is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
In all cases, Tap Tavern’s total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tap Tavern and its affiliates against any claims or liabilities arising from:
Your breach of these Terms
Your misuse of the platform or digital tools
Violations of law in connection with your use of our services
TERMINATION
Tap Tavern may terminate your account or revoke access at any time for:
Violation of these Terms
Abuse of features or manipulation of in-game systems
Requests from legal authorities
Upon termination, all associated licenses and access to Tap Tavern features will cease.
GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in New Zealand courts.
AMENDMENTS & SURVIVAL
We may update these Terms at any time. If changes are material, we will provide notice via our website.
The following sections survive termination: Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law.
